Neil Hooson is an illustrator / animator / motion designer / character designer with 15 years of experience in the industry as both a freelance and staff artist.
This may look familiar, but is the result of multiplying the original image on top of itself. I think I like this happy accident better than the original!

Pros & Cons
It’s National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), and Deanna and I have been spending our evenings sequestered downstairs putting together a book that’s been in the works for a few years!
This image is somewhere between rough colour concept and final (the colour work is rough and the character outlines are final vector).
Aside from designing the original characters, I’ve illustrated Gus and Liberty for various products for Osum Corp, including book covers, stickers and game boards.
